The Gardeners.

This pair of silk embroideries with watercolour details, contained
within a pair of very fine origonal giltwood oval frames.
Much of this style of embroidery depicts biblical or classical subjects
and by contrast such domestic subjects as 'The Gardeners,' are particularly appealing.
