Mary Flack. 'Her Work September The 17th. Anno Domini 1724' A well composed sampler of band form with a moralistic text within a rectangle, each word embroidered in different coloured silks. Stylised flowers form a border which is surmounted by a pair of inward facing large green and red parrots who appear to be balancing over sized crowns on their heads. Worked on loosely woven unbleached linen canvas with coloured silks. Cross and eyelet stitch. Framed Size. 46 x 26 cm (18 x 10 in)	Catherine Winbush. 1832. ‘Catherine Winbush Her work in the year of our Lord 1832. Finished July 26 aged 12’. This well executed sampler is almost identical to one worked by Elizabeth Harris and illustrated in the Catalogue of Embroideries The Lady Lever Art Gallery. Page 239. Contained in the original gift wood frame. Framed size: 36 x 46 cm
Esther Borden Lippincott. 1800. Montreal A rare sampler by the daughter of Captain Richard Lippincott who owned 3000 acres land in the Richmond Hill area. Worked with coloured silks and contained in the original frame. Size 15 x 14 ins. 38 x 36 cm.	Sarah Manfield. 1792. An attractive pastoral sampler worked with coloured silks and hair onto a cream wool ground. A six lined verse is placed above the main subject, the whole being surrounded by an undulating border of carnations. Such pastoral subjects were popular with embroiderers throughout the 18th century. Executed in cross, satin and long and short stitch. Framed Size: 46 x 38 cm (18 x 16 in)
Mary Ann Mills. Aged 9 years. An attractive and elegant map of England and wales contained within a floral border. The counties named and delineated with couched down multi coloured silk threads. A lively representation of Britannia and a full masted sailing ship add further interest, her features and limbs carfully painted in watercolour. Worked on a silk, satin weave ground. Late 18th / Early 19th century Framed Size. 53 x 69 cm (21 x 27 in)	Martha Heath. Croydon School. 1830. Typical of Quaker school embroidery with distinctive black lettering and extract text. Contained in the original maple frame. Framed size: 41 x 51 cm (16 x 21 in)
German Sampler. DFF 1791. A superb band sampler worked in brightly coloured silks with numerous images including a splendid image and depiction of Adam and Eve. In outstanding condition. Framed size: 38 x 114 cm.	Hannah Rolfe. English Band Sampler. Mid 17th century. Many band samplers embroidered during the 17th century bear neither a name or date. It is therefore very desirable when a signed sampler of this period which also is inscribed with an amusing verse becomes available. Worked in coloured silks on an unbleached linen ground.
